Derrick James (born 1983 Derrick James Colón in Puerto Rico) is a Puerto Rican actor. In the year 2004, the opportunity arose to attend Centro de Educación Artística (CEA, Televisa's acting school) in Mexico. His first role as an actor was in Rebelde were he played Santos. In 2005, he dated Mexican actress Anahi; the couple eventually went their separate ways. In 2004 James was also seen with Cuban American Actress Elizabeth Melendez. He is currently in Lola Erase Una Vez that will begin February 26, 2007 airing by Televisa El Canal de las Estrella
